Mission of Hope equips church leaders to see themselves as an integral part of the team bringing the hope of Jesus into the mental health needs of individuals and families in churches. The desire to have a baby and experience the joy of being a parent is so deeply seated in the hearts of many. Yet there are times that desire seems unreachable due to infertility. The emotions, thoughts, and reactions that stem from the disappointment can feel overwhelming, hopeless and quite lonely. You are not meant to walk through this waiting alone. Mission of Hope invites you to a special workshop specifically for those walking through infertility concerns.
Attendees will:
Recognize shared experience with others
Acknowledge and validate emotional responses to infertility
Gain healthy coping strategies for waves of emotion and external triggers
Identify thoughts of feeling hopeless, overwhelmed or isolated and gain helpful thinking tools that move toward hope.
Remember to live with meaning and purpose now even in the waiting
Leave with practical tools of hope and genuine support

Kids Grief Group
This 5 day group is for 1st-5th grade students who have experienced the death of a loved one. They will learn ways to process and cope with grief through expressive arts, stories, and sharing. This group provides a way to express feelings and honor the memory of their loved one through fun and meaningful activities that celebrate their loved one’s life!

Building Up Kids: Battling Big Emotions
This exciting 5 day group for K-4th grade students offers a unique experience of creativity mixed with learning for kids utilizing Interlocking bricks! They will learn healthy ways to express emotions, coping strategies and build confidence. Blending the creativity of interlocking bricks with various physical, social and emotional learning activities provides a great atmosphere for kids to learn while they create!

Parenting adolescents is not for the faint of heart! Parenting well and raising young people requires amazing courage! Cornerstone is honored to equip both parents and middle + high school youth with practical tools and techniques to better navigate these often rocky years of change and growth.

Summer is coming!! While there is great excitement about time off from school, vacations, and swimming, summer can also bring new challenges into families. The school year routine is off, schedules are often changing, sibling conflict is more prevalent, and increased time at home means more vigilance for parents to instill healthy habits.
Parents and Students will gain:
A process for summer schedules that provides predictability and fits your family
An understanding of the need for balance between tasks, having fun, relaxation, relationships
A plan for consequences that promote healthy boundaries and structure
A “Summer Bucket List” for personal accomplishment and shared memories
Parents will gain parenting tools in one group while students gain skills in a separate intentionally engaging group. Parents and students will come together toward the end to share learning and create a mentally and relationally healthy Summer Plan!
